PIPE LAYERS RT1 AND RT2 The Operval pipe laying machines are designed for the transportation of pipes in places with difficult access, where cranes or other more common machines would be useless. The models available are Pipe layer RT1 and pipe layer RT2. Pipe Layer RT1 The Operval RT1 has been conceived for transporting pipes into the most difficult locations such as, for example, tunnels or technological culverts. Being radio controlled, an operator can work in absolute safety, manoeuvring the machine at a distance of 100 m from the area of intervention. Another characteristic of the RT1 is the possibility of switching to an electrical power supply; an indispensable solution if operating in a poorly ventilated location. This pipe layer is widely used in locations where it is not possible to use a crane such as inside tunnels or other cramped spaces. The RT2 requires the presence of an operator on board.
